Can I save on my taxes if I switch to NYSEG Solutions?
Yes! With NYSEG Solutions as your energy supplier, you are eligible for a sales tax discount. Specifically, state and local sales tax do not apply to your delivery charges when you take supply service from an ESCo. Additionally, local municipal taxes are not applied to your supply charges. These tax benefits can often be one of the biggest benefits of ESCo supply service.

When I switch to NYSEG Solutions, who will my delivery company be?
Your energy delivery will remain the responsibility of the traditional utility. As Energy Services Companies (ESCo's) such as NYSEG Solutions become the primary providers of energy supply, traditional utilities are reorganizing to focus solely on the energy delivery business.

When I switch to NYSEG Solutions, how will I be billed?
Your NYSEG Solutions energy charges will be combined with your utility delivery services on a single bill in the RG&E, NYSEG, and National Grid service areas.*

What types of products are available in my service area?
NYSEG Solutions has fixed, market, and blended natural gas supply offers in most service areas at all times. Electric offers are sometimes limited by market forces or utility programs. Generally, for electric supply service, NYSEG Solutions has fixed supply, blended supply, and pure market supply price offerings. A blended price offering combines a fixed and a market price supply portfolio together to create a single rate. Additionally, we can offer specialty products such as our environmentally conscious Clean Energy Option for electric supply.

Can I get a monthly budget with NYSEG Solutions?
Yes! NYSEG Solutions offers budget billing for your supply service. Just use the checkbox on the enrollment form and NYSEG Solutions will create a monthly budget based on your average usage.
